      THOMAS C., SR. "TOBES"

      Passed peacefully on Thurs., Nov. 15, 2007, beloved husband of Mary U. (Schake); loving father of Carol (Rob) Milliken, Raymond (Dorothy) Erfort, Christine (Ray) Walkowiak and Kimberly Ruiz and the late Thomas C., Jr. (Audri); brother of Phillip C.; preceded in death by John, Raymond and Edward; devoted grandfather to 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Tom worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp. for 21 years and retired from the Pgh. City Parks and Recreation. He was a devoted Pitt and Steeler fan. "Tobes" will be remembered by his family and friends for sharing his beautiful voice and humorous jokes. Tom was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Battle of Normandy aboard the LST 288. Friends received Sat. & Sun. 2-4 & 7-9PM, THOMAS J. GMITER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2323 E. Carson St. Funeral Prayer Monday 9:15AM.
