    • The following obituary was published in int the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on February 7, 2011:

      TRIMBUR LOUIS P. "BUZZ"
      Louis P. "Buzz" Trimbur, age 88, of Brentwood, peacefully on February 5, 2011. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Madge (Fisher) Trimbur. He will be deeply missed by his five children, Dick (Mary), Dave (Sue), Don (Linny), Debbie (Lou) Prosser, Diane (Dave) DeBor, his 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Buzz served his country proudly in the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was involved in various sports activities in Brentwood - coaching baseball, refereeing football and officiating basketball. He volunteered at Meals on Wheels and worked the voting poll at Moore Elementary School. Buzz retired from Ball Corporation after 30+ years of service. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 10:15 a.m. Funeral Service in Zion Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Avenue Room 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 Attn: Gift Processing.
