The following obituary was published in the Butler (Pennsylvania) Eagle on January 29, 2004:

Agnes G. Trimbur, 76, of Lumar Village died Wednesday afternoon at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Born in Butler, Nov. 15, 1927, she was a daughter of John and Mary Vogel Stephenson.

Mrs. Trimbur retired from working at the Butler County Prison after 16 years.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, Robert J. Trimbur of West Sunbury and John O. Trimbur of Lake Forest, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. David (Sandra) Zima of Richmond, Va., Lois Trimbur of Butler, Mrs. William (Marian) Cravens of Memphis, Tenn., and Judy Trimbur of Fort Collins, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A brother, Richard Stephenson of Butler; two sisters, Mary Gould of Nottingham, Chester County, and Mrs. William (Eileen) Pickett of Bedford, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Her husband, John "Jack" Trimbur, died April 14, 1988. Two brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.

TRIMBUR - There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Agnes G. Trimbur, who died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. Jack Nanz will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery.

The Women's Council of St. Peter will recite the rosary at 10:40 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are by GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Program of the Butler County Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
