Virginia J. Kuminkoski
Virginia J. Kuminkoski, 86, formerly of Butler and The Arbors, died at 4:40 a.m. Saturday at Chicora Medical Center after a long illness.
Born Sept. 3, 1916, in Butler, she was the daughter of Seward Joseph and Genevieve Mary Houston Trimbur.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Kuminkoski had worked at various jobs including the Spade Shirt Factory, Logan’s Candy, a cook at Natili’s Restaurant & Lounge at Main and Wayne streets and at the Country Kitchen. She also had worked at the Butler Eagle.
She loved bingo and crafts.
Surviving are her husband, Edward B. Kuminkoski of Butler, whom she married Feb. 8, 1949; a daughter Arlene K. Kuminkoski of Prescott, Ariz.; a son, James G. Adams of Butler; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, James N. Adams, who died Feb. 14, 1978.
KUMINKOSKI — A Mass of Christian burial for Virginia J. Kuminkoski, who died Saturday, May 17, 2003, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler, is handling arrangements.
