LEANN R. ASHCOM
HAMPTON - LeAnn R. Ashcom, 21, a native and lifelong resident of Hampton, died Monday, Nov. 4.
Mrs. Ashcom was employed as a cooperative student-secretary at NASA-Langley Research Center. She was a 1988 graduate of Hampton High School and a student at Thomas Nelson Community College.
Survived by her husband, Dale Ashcom; a son, Nicholas A. Ashcom of Hampton; her father and stepmother, Claude R. and Patricia M. Watts of Hampton; her mother and stepfather, Judy C. and H. Steve Brown of Clagmont, Del.; two sisters, Pamela L. Goens of Hampton and Gina W. Santoro of Newark, Del.; a brother, A. Jeffrey Watts of Kleviak, Iceland; and grandparents, J.B. Callis of Goodlettsville, Tenn., and Ruth Stinson of Old Hickory, Tenn.
