ELIZABETH CLOUGH “Betty” DAVIS Born November 16, 1916 in Manchester, NH, died Saturday, February 28, 2004 at a Good Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Davis had resided in West Palm Beach since 1954. She was a former member of the Molly Stark Chapter of the D.A.R., Manchester, NH. She was also a former charter member of the Isaac Allerton Colony of the Florida Society of Mayflower descendants, holding the position of Junior Membership Chairman. Mrs. Davis was well known on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, having worked in ladies apparel at Elizabeth Arden, Saks Fifth Avenue and several other ladies boutiques.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Barndollar of West Palm Beach; two sons: Hugh O. Barndollar, Jr. of Odessa, FL and Stephen Barndollar of Portsmouth, NH; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was a kind and loving mother and will be missed dearly.
Friends may call at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 S. Olive Ave., W. Palm Beach, between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 PM with the Rev. John A. Crowley, pastor of St. John of the Cross Church, Vero Beach, FL, officiating. Interment will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Manchester, NH. Those who wish may make contributions in her memory to the Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches, 3200 N.
