- The following obituary appeared in the March 16, 1951 edition of the Daily News (Huntingdon, Pennsylvania):
Mrs. Margaret L. Hady
Mrs. Margaret L. Hady, who been a guest at the Hollidaysburg Presbyterian home since Dec. 5, 1934, died there at 10:15 o'clock Wednesday night, March 14, 1951, after having been ill for several years and bedfast for the past two weeks.
She was born at Hopewell May 9, 1862, a daughter of John and Mary Barndollar. Her husband, John S. Hady, died a number of years ago. Mrs. Hady had moved to Hollidaysburg in the early 1930s and was a member of the Hollidaysburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Mrs. J. L. Hady of Princeton, N.J.
The body was prepared for burial at the Creamer, VanAllman & Plank funeral home, Hollidaysburg.
