Mrs. Hellen L. Gage
Mrs. Helen Lauder Gage, 86, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of Philadelphia and Riddlesburg, died in Columbia on Wednesday, January 28, 1970.
Born December 29, 1883, in Riddlesburg, she was a daughter of William and Mary E. (Ashcom) Lauder. She was united in marriage to Fred Gage of Huntington who preceded her death.
Mrs. Gage was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
She had served during WW I as a nurse, France, and was later employed with the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia for several years prior to her retirement.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., today at Everett under the direction of Masood funeral services of Saxton.
