- According to the obituary of Wiliam's father-in-law, Robert G. Johnson, William and his wife Margaret were living in Falls Church, Virginia in 1961.
The following death notice was published in the December 5, 1983 edition of The Washington Post:
"BRONSON, WILLIAM L.
On Thursday, December 1, 1983, at Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital, WILLIAM L. BRONSON of Fall Church, Va., husband of the late Margaret C. Bronson; father of Roger, Arlington, Va., Carl, Fort Collins, Colo., and David Bronson of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. JoAnne Farmer of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother of Marie Lydick, Blairsville, Penn., and Mrs. Irene Zimmerman of Erie, Penn. Nine grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at THE COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Va., on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 1983, at 10 a.m. Interment National Memorial Park. The family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Bykola Sunday School Class of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Washington, D.C."
