Services for Raymond Lawrence Montgomery, 93, of 1900 N.E. 1st Ave. will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sturdivant Cemetery.
Montgomery died October 14 at 12:50 a.m. in a local hospital following a long illness. He was born May 9, 1888 in West Virginia and had lived in Mineral Wells since 1975. He and Margaret Johnson were married February 5, 1919 in Greensberg, Pa. He was a retired glazier for a window glass production company and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Margaret Montgomery, Mineral Wells; a son: Harry Montgomery, Dallas; one daughter: Wanda Bagley, Mineral Wells, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
