- Walter was a doctor in Dormont (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, Volume 130, Dr. Walter C. Rohrkaste, Pittsburgh, pleaded guilty to narcotic violation and on Dec. 4, 1945 sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
