      JOSEPHINE E. KREBS
      Josephine E. Krebs, 80, of N. Second Street, Newport, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in The Manor at Perry Village, New Bloomfield.

      She was born March 25, 1926 in Chester County to the late John M. and Clara (Cartledge) Mansley.

      She was a member of the Newport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary 177.

      She was the widow of William P. Krebs Sr.

      Surviving are two daughters, E. Jo Holloway of San Antonio, Texas, and Louise E. Hurst of Drexel Hill; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by two sons, William P. Jr. and Edward G.

      A memorial service was held July 22 in David M. Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
