  • Notes
    • Schaumburg-Lippe was a former principality founded in 1613 and is now part of Lower Saxony. Adolph came to the United States on Sept. 12, 1856 with his mother, two brothers and two sisters. Adoph and his wife Minnie moved to 1809 Brownsville Rd., Carrick (Pittsburgh), PA, about 1903 and eventually owned a considerable amount of property, which was bordered by Crailo St. and Brownsville Rd. Adolph was a shoemaker, laborer and, later, a landlord.
