ASHCOM
 – Dolores C. (Pollock), 84, Johnstown, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, with family at her home. Born April 1, 1930, in Johnstown, daughter of the late George J. and Catherine E. (Siska) Pollock. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, George W. Ashcom. Survived by her six children, Rebecca M., wife of Richard Dembrosky; Daniel G., and wife, Jackie (Leazenby); Barbara A., widow of Levoy Norris, Monroeville, Ala; William G. Ashcom; James R., and wife, Colleen (Clark); and Richard M. Ashcom, Johnstown; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister-in-law, Lois Cox; brother-in-law, Robert (Betty Jo) Ashcom; and aunt, Margaret Klesch. Loving, future best wishes to her three special angels. Lifelong devoted member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, where she was a choir member, Rosary Society member and activities committee member. Dolores thoroughly enjoyed assisting with social functions and making various craft items, gift baskets and flower arrangements. She formerly taught at St. Stephen’s Elementary School. Retired employee of the Pennsylvania state liquor store system, where she worked for 20 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, the Very Rev. James Crookston officiating. Committal, SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. John Gualbert Cathedral Parish, 117 Clinton St., Johnstown, Pa. 15901 in memory of Dolores.
