The following obituary was published in the May 31, 2018 edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
WOODBURN
SARAH (STOUT) "SALLY"
Age 82, formerly of Ben Avon Heights and Kilbuck, peacefully on May 30, 2018. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late John "Jack" Woodburn; loving mother of Linda (Randy) Reynolds and Mary Ann (Darren) Macioce; grandmother and "Mimi" of Lauren, Christine, and Matthew Reynolds, Michael and Nicholas Macioce; daughter of the late Forrest and Margaret Stout. Sally will also be fondly remembered by her nephews, Mark (Kiley) Woodburn, M.D., Michael, Gregory and Robert Rohaus and her many friends. A graduate of Avonworth after she left William and Mary College and married Jack, Sally proceeded to raise her family and later worked at Federated Investors downtown. Even as she progressed through the latter years of her life, Sally's primary concern was caring for Jack's health and the happiness and peace of others around her. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her grandchildren, gardening, playing bridge with friends and vacationing in Rehoboth Beach for many years. Funeral Service will be private. Memorial contributions in Sally's memory may be made to the Allegheny Health Network Hospice & Palliative Care Fund, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pgh., PA 15224 or www.supportahn.org. Arrangements entrusted to MCDONALD - LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 529 California Ave., Pgh., PA 15202. Please view and sign the family's online guestbook at: www.mcdonald-linn.com
