  • Notes
    • Theron met his wife, Ruth, in the Pennsylvania Railroad office in Pittsburgh where they both worked, Ruth as a secretary. After their marriage, they moved to Chicago, IL. As an employee of the railroad, Theron was transferred often. They lived in Crown Point, IN, Terre Haute, IN, Richmond, IN, Xenia, OH, and Chicago (Washington Heights), during the Depression. They also lived in four different places in Chicago before retiring to McHenry, IL. Late in his life, Theron lived for a while with his son before moving to a nursing home. His heart gave out at age 95, although he had not known any of the family for quite a long time before that.
