Notes |
- According to the wife of John Houston Woodburn, Martha's grandson, Martha was a wonderful woman who was loved by all. She had pancake dinners for and played cards with the neighborhood children. She had a good sense of humor and sparkling eyes. According to the 1880 census and her death certificate, Martha was a housewife. She died of cancer of the cervix and uterus at 9:45 p.m. on December 20, 1940.
