      The following obituary was published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on February 15, 1924:

      Miss Hannah I. Houston

      Miss Hannah I. Houston, a sister of the late James W. Houston, died on Thursday morning of pneumonia. She was a daughter of John and Isabel Houston, was born in Pittsburgh and lived here all her life. Many years ago she taught at the Birmingham Public School, but for the last 15 years or more was an instructor in the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind. She was a member of the Bellefield Presbyterian Church. She leaves her sister, Mrs. Ellen J. Dunlap.
