- The following obituary was published in the October 28, 1928 edition of the Appleton Post Crescent (Appleton, Wisconsin):
MRS. ALVINA (sic) FEAVEL
Mrs. Alvina Feavel, 85, died at 1 o'clock Monday morning at the home of a nephew, J. C. Feavel, 415 E. Summer-st., after a short illness. Mrs. Feavel was born in Hancock-co, Ill., and came to Appleton about 40 years ago.
Survivors are four sons, Frank, Ernest and Joseph of Appleton, and Chester of Madison; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Lyons, Appleton; two adopted children, Chester of Appleton and Walter of Milwaukee; four sisters, Mrs. Stephen Feavel, Mrs. Hattie Mills, Mrs. Martha Locy, Appleton, and Mrs. Sara Gero, Wisconsin Rapids; three brothers, Stephen and William Helsor of Appleton and George of Beloit; 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The body was taken to Brett-schneider funeral home.
