- According to W. Thomas Hall, P.O. Box395, Kailua Hawaii 96734, pali@hgea.org, John was a professor and the head of surgery at Temple Medical School. In 1999, John lived in Valley Forge, PA.
John and his wife had three children.

HALL
JOHN H. HALL JR., M.D., on Thursday, May 17, 2007, age 91. Lifelong physician, teacher, father and treasured friend, he was born July 22, 1915 in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hall attended Temple University School of Medicine, graduating as an MD in 1941 and attained an M.Sc. in Surgery in 1945. He began teaching as an Associate in Surgery at Temple from 1942 - 1950, and it was during this period that he met and married Dorothy H. Miller of Germantown. He served as Professor of Surgery at Temple from 1959 until 1982. During this time he also served as Chairman of the Dept. of Surgery at Philadelphia General Hospital. In 1982 he became Chief of Surgical Services at Veteran's Admin. Hospital in Wilmington, DE and also served as Professor of Surgery at Thomas Jefferson Univ. College of Medicine until his retirement in 1986.
He is survived by his 3 children, John III, Frederick and Cynthia. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 22nd, at 7 P.M., at the Philadelphia College of Physicians, 19 S. 22nd Street, in Philadelphia.
