  • Notes
    • According to James Carcia (letter dated May 5, 1997), Wilson was killed in an auto accident in 1957, at about age 40. According to an article in the September 6, 1957 edition of the Evening Standard (Uniontown, Pennsylvania), Wilson, from Monroeville, died in an auto accident. According to a family tree published on Ancestry.com (2012), he had been at his summer cottage in Farmington and was returning after a drive when his Volkswagen failed to make a curve on Rt. 381, rolled over and landed on its roof.
