    • The following obituary was published on the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home Family (Kittanning, Pennsylvania) and available in 2019:

      Glenn A. Claypool, 80, of Kittanning died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at home.

      He was born March 30, 1937, in New Kensington to Omer and Mildred (George) Claypool.

      Glenn was a draftsman for U.S. Steel and also drove school bus for Valley Lines.
      He was in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

      Glenn attended Victory Baptist Church.

      He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, NCIS, and M*A*S*H, and country music on RFD TV. And he enjoyed working outside and listening to the news.

      He was a loving husband of 57 years to Wanda A. (Tarr) Claypool; four sons, Arden (Teresa) Claypool, Scott Claypool, David (Karen) Claypool, and Richard Claypool; one daughter, Gloria Cravener (Scott); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Claypool, Eleanor Nau, Pat (Steve) Toth, Ruthann (David) Podnar; and inlaws, Helene and Walt Allworth and Sandy Claypool.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ron Claypool.

      Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Weitlich officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
