- According to a Johnstown City Directory (1918) available on Ancestry.com, Chester and Anna lived on Woodvale Ave. in Johnstown in 1918.
According to the 1920 Census, Chester and Anna lived with Anna's father, Albert, and their son, William, age 7, on Woodvale Ave. in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
The following news story appeared in the November 12, 1920 edition of the Harrisburg Telegraph:
Bullet in Abdomen of Hunter Causes Death; Lingered Twelve Days
Chambersburg, Pa., Nov. 12.--Cloyd Thompson, 30, of Johnstown, died at the Chambersburg Hospital after suffering twelve days from a bullet wound in the abdomen, inflicted when the revolver, he was carrying at a hunting camp, near McConnellsburg, fell on a stone and discharged. His widow and parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Thompson, were at the bedside when he died.
According to a Veterans Burial Card available on Ancesty.com, Chester served on the USS Wisconsin as a coal passer in WW I. He is buried in Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
