Corl, Ronald A., 80, Windber. Passed away May 18, 2015 at home. Born Dec.3, 1934 in South Fork. Son of Donald, Sr. and Angela (McNally) Corl. Preceded in death by parents, brother Donald, Jr., sisters Shirley Corl, Doris Fry, Jean Ripple, and Angela Corl.
Survived by loving wife of 54 years the former Norma Wiesheier, and these children Ronald Corl, Windber, Janice Corl, Manhattan Beach, Cal., and Susan Corl, Murrysville. Sister Gail, wife Robert Roth, Johnstown, and also numerous nieces and nephews.
Former owner and operator of Country Club Coal, Longwall mining, Lunar Mining, and Solar Fuel Co.  Ronald served in Marine Corp during the Korean War. Longtime member of Windber Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellow, Board of Directors at Windber Medical Center. Board member Eureka Coal Heritage Foundation and Arcadia Theater. Past board member of Conemaugh Health Foundation, Windber Area School District, Citizens bank, Cenwest Bank, and First Commonweath Bank. Founding member Windber Little League Fields at Recreation Park. Ronald was an anonymous philanthropist and advocate for many local Windber causes.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Rev. David McGee, officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery. Military graveside rite by Conemaugh Valley Detachment Marine Corp League #287. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Windber Hospital building fund, Arcadia Theater, Windber, or the Wendy (Hollern) Spencer memorial fund. www.meekfuneralhome.com
