Mrs. E. Morrison
Mrs. Elizabeth Morrison, 79, of Sewickley, a native of Reno and widow of Samuel Morrison, died Wednesday morning in Kane Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Morrison was a sister of Melvin Hafer of Hafer Electric, Oil City. She was born in Reno in December 1891, a daughter of Harry M. and Martha Mong Hafer, and was reared in this area. She attended the public schools in Reno and Rocky Grove. She was married to Samuel Morrison of Coraopolis. He is deceased. Mrs. Morrison had been a resident of Sewickley for 45 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George (Mary Jane) Haber of Sewickley; four grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin Hafer of Oil City, Miles Hafer of Coraopolis and Byron Hafer of Easton, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Harper of Coraopolis. Friends are being received at the Cole Funeral Home in Sewickley, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in the Coraopolis Cemetery.Â
