Mary Ellen Darcy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thomas Darcy of East Hanover, N.J., was married yesterday to Harry George Austin 3d, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Jr. of Gibsonia, Pa. The Rev. John Wehrlen, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony in the Holy Family Chapel at the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, N.J.
Mrs. Austin, a manager for Arthur Andersen & Company in New York, graduated from Bucknell University.
Her father is counsel to the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company in Livingston, N.J.
Mr. Austin graduated from Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Va., and from Bucknell. He is national sales manager of the James Austin Company, a manufacturer of household cleaning products in Mars, Pa., of which his father is chairman. The company was founded by his great-grandfather.
