Apollo
Alfreda M. Johnson, 79, of Apollo, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights. She was born April 9, 1927, in Pittsburgh to the late John and Josephine Hotkowski and lived in the Apollo area for the past 39 years. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Apollo United Presbyterian Church. Also predeceased by brothers John and Edward Hotkowski and sister Rosalia Stulgis. Wife of 57 years of Larry L. Johnson Sr. Mother of John C. (Carole) Johnson, of New Alexandria; Larry L. (Denise) Johnson Jr. and Kathleen L. (Jeffrey) Heller, of Kiski Township; Lois A. (Norman) Cardaro, of Bell Township; Carol M. Johnson and Lisa S. Buchholz, of Apollo; Mary C. (John) Alvarado, of San Diego, Calif., and Emily A. Johnson, of Wilmington, Del. Sister of Leo (Veronica) Hotkowski, of Sarver; Dolores (James) Grundza, of Pittsburgh, and Florence E. (Gary) Smith, of Tarentum. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, where services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
