    • The following obituary was published in the Perry County (Pennsylvania) Times on June 15, 2006:

      EDWARD G. KREBS
      Edward G. Krebs, 54, of N. Sixth Street, Newport, died at home.

      He was born July 19, 1951 in Chester to Josephine Mansley Krebs of Newport and the late William Krebs.

      He worked for Carlisle Tire and Wheel.

      In addition to his mother, surviving are two sons, Brian and Matthew, both of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Melissa Wunder of Cape May Courthouse, N.J.; two sisters, Louise Hurst of Drexel Hill and Jo Holloway of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by a brother, William Krebs Jr.

      Services were held June 9 in David M. Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
