Steven Hansen is Associate Director for Faculty Development at Duquense University. (hansens@duq.edu) Steve became the associate director for faculty development for the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and the Office of Service-Learning (OSL) in 2008.
Among his responsibilities at the Center for Teaching Excellence, he directs the TA program, plans faculty and TA workshops, and develops teaching and learning resources. Steve is currently developing resources and online initiatives to support Duquesne’s adjunct faculty. He also directs the graduate student awards for excellence in teaching.
Steve lives in Verona, Pa., with his family. He enjoys staying busy outdoors doing gardening, hiking, biking, camping and cross-country skiing.
