The following obituary, apparently from the Tri-City Herald, was transacribed on FindAGrave.com by Richard H. Goms and available in 2013:

      CORETTA MACE "CORRIE" SANTRIZOS

Corrie died September 28th at hospice house after a long illness. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Marguerite and Demetrius Santrizos. Before coming to Richland, she lived in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Milwaukee returning to Minneapolis where she graduated from West High School in 1942. Corrie received a pilot's license to fly an airplane before she learned how to drive, subsequently going to work for Northwest Airlines. It was in 1950 while visiting a friend in Richland that she applied and received a job at General Electric. She transferred to Douglas United Nuclear in production scheduling when GE left the area. In 1973, she went to work for Benton-Franklin/Walla Walla Counties Pollution Control Authority where she remained until her retirement in 1992. Corrie's parents and grandparents came from Minneapolis to live in the Richland in 1965. She always said she was very fortunate to feel their love and to be able to take care of them for their last twenty years. She is survived by an aunt and uncle, Nellie and Jack Reichel, of Plymouth, Minnesota; and six cousins. Corrie had the gift of viewing life on the positive side, and loving the challenge it brought to her. She had a big heart with a generous and giving spirit. She always was helping others despite a long term illness and many surgeries. Her fighting spirit and unwavering faith in the Lord was always her guide and comfort. Corrie was a past member of the Richland VFW, the Kennewick Eagles and current member of West Richland Moose Lodge and Richland Senior Center. She loved to dance, play cards, and any game; but, most of all, she loved people. She was a member of the Parish of All Saints Episcopal Church at 1322 Kimball Avenue in Richland, where funeral services on Tuesday, October 13, will be held at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Richland Cemetery.
