Heitzman-Miller Wedding Saturday
Jamestown and Pymatuning Lake are friends of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Heitzman, of Espyville, will be cordially interested in the news of the marriage of their son, Andrew James Heitzman, Jr., to Miss Sarah Jane Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barrett Miller, 805 Washington Street, Conneautville.
The ceremony took place Saturday afternoon, April 12, in the Chapel-East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh. Rev. Dr. Charles R. Robshaw officiated.
Mrs. Heitzman is a graduate of Conneaut Valley High School and Pennsylvania State University, and is a home economist with Duquesne Light Company, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Heitzman, a graduate of Pymatuning Joint High School, at Jamestown, and Florida State University, is employed by Allegheny County schools in special education work.
After a wedding trip to the Chesapeake Bay region, the couple will reside at 820 North Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh.

Andrew J. 'Jim' Heitzman Ed.D., 76, died Feb. 8, 2008.
Jim was born November 26, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was the only son of the late Andrew J. and Catherine E. Heitzman.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Sarah (Sally); his daughter, Sarah Heitzman-Nolte of Geneseo; and his grandson, Andrew J. Nolte of Washington, D.C.
He was a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Pittsburgh. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Belvoir. He was an Associate Professor of Special Education at SUNY Geneseo from 1960 until he retired in 1995.
During his 35 years at SUNY Geneseo he wrote, published and presented many papers both nationally and internationally in the areas of behavior management and related subjects.
He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa and served on Faculty Senate. He worked with the Migrant Center at Geneseo and several other migrant reading programs in western New York.
He served as advisor to the Prometheus fraternity. He was a member and president of Geneseo Community Players.
The family would like to thank all of the staff of the Livingston County Rehabilitation Center and Noyes Memorial Hospital for their care and support.
Calling hours will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo, on Friday, February 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5015 Lakeville Rd., Geneseo on Saturday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to the Geneseo Fire Department or the National Wildlife Association.
