- The following obituary appeared in the July 19, 1932 edition of the Appleton Post Crescent (Appleton, Wisconsin):
JOSHUA E. FEAVEL
Joshua E. Feavel, 72, 415 E. Summer-st, died at 2:30 Monday afternoon after a lingering illness. He was born at Milwaukee Nov. 26, 1859, and had lived in Appleton for the past 50 years. He was foreman of the rag room at the Patten Paper company for over 45 years. He was a charter member of the First Baptist church. Survivors are two sons, Ray, Appleton; and David, Madison; one daughter, Mrs. Albert Hahn, Racine; his mother, Mrs. Lydia Feavel, Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. J. Riner, Appleton; Mrs. C. Lockery, Brooklyn, Wis.; four brothers, T.R. Oliver, and George, Appleton; Albert, Milwaukee, and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral home from Thursday evening until time for the funeral. The funeral will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from the funeral home with the Rev. E. Hasselblad in charge. Burial will take place in Riverside cemetery.
