GOEHRING
EDMUND J., SR.
Age 84, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Sunday, February 13, 2005, at Kindred Hospital, FL. Born in Pittsburgh, he came to Florida in 1990 from Hartford, CT. He retired from the U.S. Navy as Commander, serving from 1941 to 1957. He later worked as National Sales Manager for Douglas-Randall, Inc., from 1967 to 1980. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he was captain of the tennis team, and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. Locally he was involved with ASPEC, Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College as an advisor and lecturer. He was a Catholic. Survivors include two sons, Edmund J. Jr. of South Bend, IN, and Thomas A. of Hamburg, NJ; a daughter, Katherine M. Goehring of New York, NY; and a granddaughter, Liana Goehring of Stroudsburg, PA.
