    • The following obituary was published in The Morning News (Wilmington, Delaware) on October 12, 1977 (as corrected on October 12, 1977):

      Robert B. Spory

      Robert B. Spory Sr., 47, of 271 Peach St., Newark, died yesterday in the Delaware Division after a brief illness.

      Mr. Spory worked as a supervisor for the Delmarva Power & Light Co. for 21 years.

      He is survived by his wife Eileen; two sons, Robert B. of New Castle and David L. of Newark; a daughter, Kathy L. Morris of Newark; a brother, David A. of Bedford, Mass., and a sister, Sandra K. Snyder of Wilmington.

      Services will be Friday morning at 11:15 at the Gracelawn Memorial Chapel. Friends may call tomorrow night at the William J. Warwick Funderal Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.

      The Elks Lodge 2281, 267 Christiana Road, will hold a service tomorrow ight at 8. Instead of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Newark Lodge 2281 CPOC.
