    • The following obituary was published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette February 28 to February 29, 2008:

      JARRETT BURTON T.

      Age 93, formerly of Castle Shannon and Bethel Park, on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Devoted Husband of 58 years to the late Chlotilde Jarrett; loving father of Tom (Gaynell) Jarrett of Villa Rica, GA, Lee (Amy) Jarrett of Milford, CT, and Jim (Michele) Jarrett of Peters Township, PA. Proud grandfather of Michael, Melissa, and Tom Jarrett, and Michelle Shea. Also survived by two great grandchildren. Brother of the late Elmer, Ray, and Jack Jarrett, and Lillian Gibson. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Army's 106th Anti-Aircraft Battalion, he was the recipient of a Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with arrowhead, one silver star and three bronze stars. Also he was retired after 30 years of service from Duquesne Light Company. Friends received on Saturday 11AM-3PM at the PAUL L. HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 5570 Library Rd. BETHEL PARK, where a Funeral Service and full Military Honors will immediately follow. Interment will be private.
