The following obituary was published in the May 27, 1976 edition of the Pittsburgh Press:

Alfred E. Lennon

Alfred E. Lennon, retired employee of the Jones Krall Electric Co., died yesterday at his home, 4806 Carlyn Drive, Whitehall.

Mr. Lennon, 70, was a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 5.

He was past president of Syria Temple Auto Club, a past master of Temple Lodge F&AM and was a member of South Hills Caravan No. 21, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Syria Temple, Masonic Veterans and the Fairhaven Methodist Church of Overbrook.

Surviving are his widow, Bessie Ertzman Lennon, a daughter, Mrs. Betty Leavy of Penn Hills; a sister, Mrs. Nora Depp, and four grandchildren.

Services will at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Readshaw Funeral Home, 1503 Brownsville Road. There will be no visitations.

Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
