      Sara Josephine Elder Epps, 94, Orangeburg, died Tuesday morning at The Oaks.

      A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday February 1, 2012 at the Nancy Freeman Stringer Chapel at The Oaks with Rev. E.T. Jones officiating.

      Mrs. Epps was born in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Albert Leroy and Loella Lanz Elder. She was the widow of Robert Weston Epps and was predeceased by daughter LoElla Epps Maclean.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

      Mrs. Epps is survived by a son, Albert Leroy Epps of Vancleave, MS; two daughters, Mary Edith Becker of Suffolk, VA, and Margaret Alice Amico of Burke, VA; 10 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
