    • The following obituary appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on January 1, 1948:

      MRS. JANE DASCHBACH

      Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Petty Irwin Daschbach, of 5646 Darlington road, who died at her home Wednesday morning, will be held at H. Samson's, 537 Neville street, on Friday at 2 p.m. Mrs. Daschbach was born in Pittsburgh and lived here most of her life. She was a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, Wilson College Alumni and Sixth Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Harry J. Daschbach, Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mr. Irwin: a daughter, Ann Irwin Daschbach; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Irwin Barnum, of Denver, and a brother, James Hess Irwin. Burial will be in Allegheny Cemetery.
