    • According to Anton's Petition for Naturalization dated January 23, 1907 and filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania: Anton was born on May 31, 1861. He was from Zuckmantel, Austria. He lived with his wife Mary at 127 Twelfth St. on Pittsburgh's South Side. He was a baker. He emigrated to the United States on July 20, 1899, arriving in Baltimore on the ship Hildenbrand. He and his wife had no children.

      According to Anton's Death Certificate, at the time of his death, Anton was living at 1603 Radner St., which is located on Pittsburgh, North Side. He was buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are several St. Joseph' cemeteries in Allegheny Co. For the purpose of this database, it will be assumed that he was buried in the St. Joseph Cemetery associated with St. Boniface Church, which cemetery is located near West View.
